This is my third time choose to respond to the Ugly Museum. I like every single story from the museum and the collections in the museum are really interesting. This time, the museum chose the same topic as I did and I would love to make some respond to the new story “A Basketball”.
The story talked about a fat boy who related to the curator didn’t have a good life because of the appearance and the body shape. He started to play the basketball in the middle school and that’s his first time to play. He couldn’t run fast and jump high so that his deficiency made him lose his confidence. With the help of the coach, he got the confidence back again and begun to watch the games of Kobe Bryant. He was shocked by the movements and skills of Kobe and wanted to be a real basketball player like him. After that, he become taller, stronger and faster. He went aboard alone but never felt sad because basketball was his best friend and he always kept his dream on mind. After he heard the news of the accident of Kobe Bryant, I could see how said he is and how much he love of the Kobe Bryant and basketball.
The story is really touching and vivid. I love Kobe too and I can see the story is from The Ugly Museum himself. As a international student too, I have so many same feeling and thoughts like you. This is really a good and perfect story which show your true feeling and ideas about basketball and Kobe. Your story are rising me up and can’t wait for the next new story.
